Meridian Technologies provides custom software and network development using remote technologies to the insurance industry. SurePoint, our flagship product for independent automobile appraisal firms, simplifies business processes that can weigh down a business. Using Microsoft technologies, we cater to the small office environment, providing familiar and easy to use tools that help businesses run more efficiently.

SurePoint was developed to meet the demands of the independent appraisal firm for streamlining the process complexities of claims management. Because the available solutions were not built to handle these requirements, Meridian Network Solutions was contracted by a large appraisal firm to develop a management system that addressed their challenges and to provide a workflow capability that borders on paperless. The goal was not to develop a custom solution for one customer, but to develop and test a solution for all independent appraisal firms in a real-time environment to provide a turnkey appraisal management solution that is extremely user friendly and requires minimal data entry.

Meridian Technologies, Inc. was formed in February of 2005 to bring this premier management software to the independent appraisal industry and provide remote network technology to the insurance industry.

Paul Morgan

Paul spent 16 years in the Property Casualty industry, specializing in auto physical damage claims, including 3 years as a Physical Damage Examiner for a national insurance carrier, and 10 years as a Physical Damage Manager for a large regional insurance carrier. In 1996, Paul was asked to assist in the startup of a new insurance carrier in the northeast. During his Physical Damage role, Paul became heavily involved in technology and for 2 years worked as a network administrator for the company, eventually deciding to start his own IT consulting firm. In 2001, he formed Meridian Network Solutions, specializing in network design and support, Microsoft Terminal Services, Microsoft SQL Server database design and administration, custom database application development, and web development. Paul has also provided remote solutions to the insurance industry since 2001.
